Thanks ....even i was wondering on the same lines as the agent i had taken advise from had told me that it is feasible if i get my degree assesssed from EA and then proceed.

Hi Seban,

Just curious after reading your post. You were assessed as a software engineer by "Engineers Australia".

I thought ICT occupations were assessed by ACS and not EA.

My issue is that i am being family sponsored and so would have to show 1 year of experience as an electrical engineer which is not possible since i have been employed in the IT industry.
