So you may be able to qualify for both, look up the thread on here about paying class 2 NIC, if you qualify you can continue to accrue UK NO credits for about GBP 160 a year:

Lots of threads on here about it, no one will be able to be much help unless you tell them how old you are and how many years NI you have paid in the UK already?
