Ummm Bounty bars......very partial to one of them, remember the advert...sea, sand, beautiful people and treasure chest filled with them....may have to do lidl's soon.....need stocking up on baked...

TR, that has bought back memories forgotten of long ago.....went to boarding school in Tun Wells from 5 -9yrs and Sunday lunch pud was always tinned fruit (small, medium or large) and Nestles timmed...

Seen 'Carnation' Condensed Milk here, first time...ummmmmm fudge...fudge sauce, fudge cake, fudge topping for ice-cream with mint choc chips...I'm off to shop now:D

Figs on trees here big and dark green, give it a few weeks and know when ripe and ready for the picking...when the golden orioles eat and fly away.... Have you new router??? Indie or still using OH...

100g sugar
125ml sweet wine wine
125 ml double 'ouch' its already heading for tummy, cream

Whizz up figs sugar then w wine and cream

Sure pear is preserved / in cold storage so why not figs....maybe not so many figs as pears..think I need to start biz freezing / preserving figs ;) and go on ice cream making course too....:thumbsup:

Will look for and ask at market tomorrow....Goosegogs normally ripe same time as elderflowers so now is the time and I want to make puree from the two to make lovely ice-cream......:thumbsup:

Sure Pat a pizza oven is great when entertaining but quite alot of work to russle up a meal for 2....Maybe Mr B needs to experiment when friends visit, sure it would be a laugh and great to have some...

Bought some sausages there yeaterday 'Norimberga' chipolata size and herby, not bad at all.....Used to send OH marmite in squeezy jar via post B, cost a bit to post but worth it incase supplies dry...

Yummy, stock up tho' they tend not to sell them here in the summer as chocolate melts !!! Maybe I'll suggest custard creams and bourbons to fill shelves during summer.:thumbup:
