I'm part of the event team on this. Putting up signs and establishong turning points.

It wasn't very pleasant over Saadiyat highway earlier. Sandblasted.

Out early for the kid's duathlon...

Do as I did and start with a 'sprint' Scamp - I see you are Tri-curious

Long ones are called Ironman which is 140 miles + I think. you swim and cycle all day and then top it off with a marathon!!!

I'm in AUH but repatriating to UK at the end of March (if anyone is looking for a 4 bed on Island villa for 140k pa, or a 2006 Jeep Commander or a 2013 VW Tiguan...

Yeah the swim and T1 was a bit of a challenge for a first timer without the correct gear. So disorientated in the water but kept the stroke going - could have been...
