My sons' school is on the newcollege.com.au list in the 50's (bloody well ought to be, the fees we pay). I reckon the Australian's 'Best School' list is a joke though, and I hope no-one...

Hmmm. Selective schools are not easy to get into. The competition is fierce and there are a raft of private crammers that cater for ambitious parents anxious to get their kids in.
