I did earlier! It clearly said that you can claim healthcare without having a job or being self-employed!

Your social security card may still be valied after ceasing self-employment IF you had...

And a communication issue. Three of four times I've had to go and help people I barely know at the ayuntamiento and health centre to do pretty basic things which they swore were impossible.

Again, if you are out of work and have very low income then you get healthcare for free anyway!

You are talking absolute claptrap

The only difference may be, again as LittleWeed pointed out, that Spanish speakers can navigate the system more easily, but there are no differences in rights.

Sorry Rotor, but you are misinformed at best and crazily xenophobic at worst.

The rules are exactly the same all residents whether they are Spanish or not. I dont know exactly what the forms are...

The long term unemployed have only been getting benefits as part of a temporary measure introduced just 18 months ago. I suspect they'll do exactly the same as before that i.e. ask money from family...

Since when has the social security for foreign residents been any different to Spanish ones? :blink:

And a foreigner is just as entitled to seek benefits to pay for healthcare as a Spaniard is. As...

The health service in Spain guarentees healthcare for every resident.

You only have to pay if you are under pensionable age and are not paying social security payments.
