I had loads about the Queen and the constitutional monarchy, and a few about the various phases Canada passed through before it became Canada. I passed but it wsn't easy - I'm glad I studied.

booo I was hoping you'd be the same day as me. When did you get summoned to appear? I noticed at the bottom of the form if you don't appear you have to apply for citizenship again. Bloody hell.

Got notice of ceremony today (Aug 22nd). Am to appear on 9th September at the lovely hour of 8:15 am to swear the oath etc. etc.

Hmm, so that's around 19 months from first sending the app off and...

Cit'ship test letter received early June.

Sat cit'ship test and had interview July 7, 2011.

The officer said it could be another 3-4 months before I receive notice of my citizenship ceremony. ...

July 5? Why so long?

Mine says received application blah blah April 15th 2010. ( I sent it end march).

Vancouver office received my application in January 2011.

They'll call me if they need...

well, I haven't even received an exam date yet and I sent mine in around the same time last year.
