So maybe that is why you're already paying nearly $2k, because that is about twice what we're paying. :unsure: But we have neither pool nor dogs.

It sounds like he needs PetiteFrancaise's advice on newly arriving expat mortgages. .... Several of the big banks apparently offer that type of service.

You don't need AC for "much of the year" in NC. I think our average power bill is about $120/mth - upto low $200's in the summer and as low as $60ish in the winter (we don't use electricity for...
