How so? The question was clear, a vote was held, and the votes cast were counted. The number favouring independence was fewer, by a fair margin, than those who preferred to remain part of the UK. ...

The system in the US is utterly ****ed-up. I know a man in his late 50's who had a stroke and can't get disability (heaven only knows why), but conversely I met a young woman, probably mid-late...

The problem is that people seem to invariably get "permanent" disability, when there should be an expectation of rehabilitation and retraining for many people, perhaps with a gradual taper and/or...

But you have given no explanation as to how it would actually be made better, as in "how would it be funded and made real?". Sorry but tourism is not going to to cut it, and in fact for at least 9-10...

Well I suppose it proves that I first learned to program some time during the last 50 years (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/BASIC), which puts me somewhere between 7 and about 80, or so. :rolleyes:
