Although plans to go this month maybe a bad move because of the Thai protests in Bangkok...

From what ive read part of the grant of PR on the 457 is the company has to show 3 years of work to offer the employee..

Here in oz i am with bankwest.. they are doing this at the moment.

BAY's answer is quite right.. i am in Australia and have certain funds in the u.k but with the exchange being around 1.77 its not that great..

early residency granted on 457 visa

Hi.. I am working in Brisbane australia on a 4 year 457 buisness work sponsored visa.
From the government website they say you have to wait 2 years before applying for residency WITHOUT a trade...

Rego includes third party yes. but isnt that just a cover for a third party person being injured and NOT the car?? maybe im wrong.
IMHO i think people should be MADE to pay basic insurance cover...
