I dont disagree.

My point was that for a visa exempt country there technically is no need for the card, which I still think is the case is it not?

So if they they ask, the answer should be " I am a british, therefore visa exempt"

So why could I not show my British passport and get in to Canada like that?

They can presume that I am a tourist, then once back in Canada no problem, surely no country other than Canada can take...

I see your point, the wording is not great.

However at what point do the airline ask are you PR or visitor, I dont remember ever being asked?

Thanks for your reply,

If you are from a visa exempt country what does it matter if you dont have a PR card. If you travel as a tourist you dont have a visa, I dont see a differance?

Thats what I am thinking, but if 6 years is the minimum then leaving out 2 years to give 4 is below the minimum and therefore would get zero discount.....

Hence is it worth the hassle to get the 4...

I thought that the main way to reduce the insurance cost was to provide proof of minimum 6 years no claims, so 2 claims 4 years ago means I dont have the 6 years clear insurance minimum needed.
