Yep, I agree, Wynnum Rd is not fun when it's congested. If you work somewhere near the river where the Citycat stops, or in the CBD, I reckon the Citycat is a good way to get around the inner-city...

Norman Park is also a nice suburb. Further south there are places like Sherwood and Rocklea which aren't too bad anymore.

But my favorite is Norman Park, and also Hawthorne and Bulimba, although...
