cheers for that but how do you know which equation to use ; if Vp/Vs= Np/Ns = Is/Ip if i want say Vp what formula is it ?what is the method of arriving at this?sorry for been thick...

getting confused now ,i know its easy but my head is mashed with constant revisin if a tranny has a primary volts 380 and primary turn 200,2ndary turns 50 whats the 2ndary voltage?cheers

this is helpful thankyou,sorry to be a pain,,,,,,,the resistors in series and parallel wont be a problem but do you know the formulas for other stuff you mentioned or have a link?how many questions...
