Living in Homps

We are considering Homps as a place to settle. Is there a good, multi national expat community. Any advice or observations would be gratefully received .

the plan at the moment is to look for a barge along the canal Du Midi.
Tried living onland here in Javea Spain where we are now.
Lots of Brits here but we are simply not meeting people we want to...

Tweedpipe That's interesting,I have to say I know next to nothing about Narbonne except a fellow yachties mate lived on a barge there.
I would be very interested in the places ex yachties like...

Can we talk about location.
I have only called in on my yacht and I have to say I cannot remember the place though my wife remembers something about the fuel dock.
I would hope to get a small boat...

It sounds as though that is the way to go Johnnyone.

The liscences are I think going to be extremely important and crucial.
