Does anybody know if I should receive an email from DIAC with a 'grant letter' attached? Or with instructions on where to send passport etc.?

So far I have no email, just the status...

Just got up this morning and checked my visa status page and it says 'Applicant Approved'!!!!!

FYI - my meds were requested by CO on 14th Oct, they were sent on 3rd Nov, changed to 'Finalised' on 13th Nov and changed to 'Met' today, 19th Nov.

I think (maybe someone can confirm?) that the HOC (Health Operations Centre in Sydney) set them to 'Finalised', and then once you have a case officer he/she sets them to 'Met'. Although this is just...

They will change to 'finalised' and then eventually to 'met'.

I ended up having my medicals done in London, as I'm working down here at the moment... I went to No. 1 Health on Harley Street, which I had no problems with - they seemed very professional.

Thanks guys - I have uploaded the receipts already, but just wondered what would happen if they didn't have the actual meds themselves within the 28 days? I guess the receipt being there helps a lot...

I am now waiting for my local GP to send a letter about some treatment I had a while back to the doctor who did my medicals, then hopefully they will be sent on to Sydney...!...

So now I have been asked to get my meds and police checks done. The medicals, I understand what I have to do, but the police checks I am a bit confused.
