Yes! As I wrote, maybe short sighted but no regrets (yet):ohmy:

I may go back, but the more confident I get the more there is to see e.g. Vietnam,(when it dries out) Cambodia,Laos, Malaya.

Thank you for your response. I am at present staying in Narra on the island of Palawan. It is nice and peacefull here but after 4 months a tad boring, despite the long empty beaches and wonderfull...

I have been living on the beach in Narra for 4 months in a small apartment on a secure resort. Narra is very quiet but the people are really welcoming. At the moment I am house hunting in Puerto...

I have a one year visa and met loads of people with advise. It seems really complicated but I am competent (soon to be senile) so am not too worried.
It is very good of you guys to bother with this...
