But there is still no sign from a CO, how can that be my surname starts with a B :rofl:

Here also, non MODL and very low risk country but a state sponsorship which should speed things up ;)

Still no progress, even after the call which I made one week ago.

If we're in Australia there is no need to go all the way to Berlin :p No what I mean is that the actual sticker is needed, because somebody can request to show it.... Don't know when that will...

I phoned this morning and spoke to someone who said that I didn’t have a CO and that they are up to 12th November……

A PR is indeed electronically linked to a passport so it is not necessary...

Leaving on ETA and enter on a PR I would sign for that!

But is the sticker in the passport just for fun? Or do you need to collect it anyway, and has that to be abroad?

I recognize this. My worst nightmare is that I get my visa just before I enter Australia (7th august). The ETA isn’t valid anymore and my 176 isn’t active yet…….:eek:

No news today????

Hmm looks like I am leaving on my ETA, since I hardly see any progress in the 176 (state sponsorred) visa.

At least I am leaving in 2 weeks....

You got it! You are not allowed to work on a 676. I will receive a message from my CO (when I have one) that I have to leave the country. Then a few days later I will get my visa granted, which can...

The normal ETA is for maximum 3 months, since there was no sign of a CO (end of june) I was not sure if this was enough……. A Ve 676 for 6 months cost me $75,- so it not that bad. This process...

Hi Gina,

An ETA or touristvisa (Ve676) is a visa for 3,6 or 12 months. So if my visa is not granted in time I will leave on this one, but it doesn't allow me to work.

I am a 176 on the 9/12, no news so far

I hop my visa is granted before 5/8 if not so I will leave on a ETA......

Even in the Netherlands you don't need to show a birth certificate! Just bring your old passport and you get a new one. But changing a date that's not possible.......
