do you know if one has to pay the tax when you actually sell.. or do they come looking for the money a couple of years down the line, after the money has been transfered...

i have just been told by the agent who lets my apartment, that this license will cost me around 800 euros..! i'm flabbergasted... can anyone confirm whether this sounds correct please..? Thanks.

yes just leave it alone.. it is totally safe.. the whole system has to be checked and validated before the property can be lived in... and the more you mess around with it.. ie disconnecting/turning...

The trouble is.. there are a large number of local Council/Utilities/Planning departments that all have to rubber stamp any proposals.. and many of these departments don't seem to like co operating...

Apparently a lot of the improvements along the road in front of Mad Hatters etc, is being held up due to the owner of the Petrol station.. as he is refusing to co operate.. ie - Move somewhere...

I'd heard that the one near Pingo Doce was going to be for smaller vessels, and the existing Marina further out was to be enlarged.

This actually came from the constructor who claims to be building it... but having said that, i'll believe it when i see it... i'm sceptical too...

I heard that building was to start in January (2009).... but knowing how slowly things move here, and how much everything gets postponed, it will probably turn out to be Jan 2011...

That's right.. and even in the quieter times of year, they both seem to be consistently popular.. even in early April, i saw many people being turned away from Brisa as they were full by quite early...

the sister restaurant, is the one whereby.. if you walk out of A.....o, and turn to your left, then take the lane immediatly on the left.. go along past Aquasol on the left.. and Brisa on the right.....

I agree, and Dave is a smashing bloke, who doesn't take any c..p... from the sort that are hanging around outside Mad Hatters. That's why they are all going there..

You can't actually see much at the moment, as the site is surrounded by high panelling.. apart from loads of cranes, and lorries going in and out.
