Ok- thanks, its all very complicated. I understand they don’t want a lot of dodgy imports but we wanted to buy a new car in Germany simply because of the lower VAT.

Thanks for your response- I’ve read it before. What’s confusing me is how long we would have to have owned the car in the UK? Some people say 6 months some 12 months, as we will be travelling...

We are and yes we have massive softener which costs loads in salt pellets, when had our house built (and were totally green!) they installed an inadequate softener and we had to replace that as well...

I bit the bullet and paid to have Portuguese wills, less hassle in the long run, I left everything to him, he leaves everything to me and when we're both dead split evenly between the kids!

Hello Peeps!
If any of you have had to do your land markers where did you get them (in Tavira area) if some were missing from you boundaries?
Also, someone told me that we have to 'reregister'...
