Have a look on www.austimeline.com and search for Spousal Visas. It gives you applicant's timelines since 2005. We've been waiting since 25 March!

Hi Caz

It was over the phone, the whole thing took about 10 - 15 minutes. Can't tell you how nervous I was!

We are hoping for GOOD news this week!!!! My nerves are non exsistant at this...

The financial aspect carries a lot of weight but I am sure that you can prove you paid for everything 50/50 you will be fine. They have to recognise the fact that not all couples have joint bank...

Hi!

Did you pay the rent together or seperately? Is the lease in joint names or just in one name? Do you have a joint account, wills, any financial commitments together?

Yeah we waited two weeks for them to send the stuff, which they did on 21 April. According to Royal Mail the medicals arrived at AHC on 22 April. Can you believe that it is now almost 22 May and...

Yes, we lodged in London as we live in Kent. Our application is perfect (our agent said that it is the best application she has ever had), so we know that it is not taking this long because we don't...

When did you lodge your application? If it was lodged before January you don't have to, but if it was after Jan 08 you will have to fill in the new form.

Good luck with that... our application was frontloaded 6 weeks ago and we are still waiting! They seem to have a serious backlog of applications and I know of 2 CO's on leave. We decided to wait...

You should treat this as a PR visa. I had my medical Tuesday and had to do the HIV test, even though I am also applying for the De Facto Visa.

Yeah but they are not very clear what these limits are, hence my worry! Some say 30, some 35 and others 40....

Just get a letter from your GP to state that he has high BP but that it is controlled with medication.

Don't worry about this, as long as you mention it and show that it is being dealt with :-)
