Surely in Portugal, you would only be taxed on 50% of any CG made, same as a UK resident selling second home in Portugal.

Beam is not so tight over UK. My brother lives in the Dordogne, France and still uses an 80cm dish and gets all Freeview channels, just like in UK.

Tried to log in to the app today with normal details (SNS number+DOB+ phone number) all as usual, but it says invalid data.

Suelectric 2026 (REGULATED TARIFF) New price post `01/01/2026

daily charge = e0.34 x 365 = e124.00 + IVA...

I was with EDP until end 2024, when they were much more expensive (or at least my tariff was) than Plenitude

Looked at edp tariff pages but all junk to me, nothing stacks up as usual....

It will be interesting to see the 2026 prices as the price for 6.9Kva potencia at €0.15/day (i guess IVA is extra 23%) so €0.18/day, compared to mine at €0.39/day, or €73 a year.
That alone...
