The Request for Passport email said "allow up to 3 weeks" so i thought that would be worse case scenario. I sent a case specifc email through to LA yesterday and waiting...

Does anybody have experience with the LA office? I sent my passports recorded delivery from Calgary to LA a month ago and they were signed and received by LA 3 weeks ago today.

It seems to differ depending on which office is dealing with your application.

I wasn't asked for any money with my medical request, they asked for it when they requested my Passport 3 months...

Thank you. I'll cross my fingers for you guys too. Los Angeles seems very fast and efficient and they answer case specific emails very promptly, albeit usually with a standard response.

It said "in process" within a few months of the 120 day letter, and still says "In process" now. To be honest I dont think the system is a good indicator of where your file is. I received my passport...

Mine was transferred to LA in January and I received my medical request Mid February. I think it was about 4 weeks.

Medicals to Passport Request - Timeline

I'm wondering if anybody has any time-lines for Passport Requests that they could share please?

My medicals were sent to Ottawa on March 23rd, and Los Angeles says it should be finalized within 12...
