Have you heard that the might? Its difficult enough to get the points now with all this deeming date bs (9 years IT experience needed if you want SWE points and don't have an IT degree).

Same situation

I'm in the same boat, though not sure if you can claim the 5 points for specific experience in ANY skilled occupation as this is not the NOMINATED occupation assessed by ACS.
