Hi, if you go onto the TRA website and read the whole of the new skills stream document, at the bottom of the whole thing it has a glossary of terms and explains what they mean by "skills transition"...

Hi, I was already looking at this option for my husband, he's in roofing though, not one of the trades you listed. I could only find one place that was CRICOS registered that could do the assessment....

Hi, you could also speak to your agent about going out there and getting assessed for an Australian qualification and going through pathway e, if it is unlikely that you will get through on pathway...

Hi, if you see my earlier post on this subject, he could go over and have a "Recognition of Prior Learning" assessment done and get aussie qualifications that way. It can be done on a tourist 3 month...

Some will be able to take Pathway B instead, but if you look more closely at the TRA guidelines, you'll see that with Pathway B, even if you get an NVQ now, you still have to show in detail 900 hours...
