I also had the police check and a full CRB (because I worked with children anD vurnerable adults) before I left the UK but have been told only the OZ version counts! I went to the police...

Not sure if it will apply to you, but when you get here, go to the police station and get the forms for a police check and a blue card - both seem to be asked for if you intend to work with...

As Teryna has said some jobs can be a little thin on the ground, even with a world recocnised qualification in IT I have had no luck getting work yet. Technology is still a bit behind here....
