To ease your worry or not, I am in the same boat although I was not transferred. I had filed and did the same error with the check amount as you, so sent the new check filed 9/07 and biomentrics on...

I filed I-751 on 10th Sep 07
Biometics on 28th Nov 07

To date still waiting on a receipt letter to say my green card is...
