so if i'm below 90k a year in the UK, i would still have to keep filing but wouldn't have to pay the US anything?

i've actually just found this which explains it in somewhat laymans terms......

Ok understood.

I've also just been informed that an affidavit will need to be signed by two people known to me since marrage and signed by an attorney.

Is this right?

Well he's a good Freind of mine and he'll make sure the forms filled in correcly i hope.

So i fill in the forms along with marrage photos, joint lease, joint tax forms all that good stuff?

Im getting ready to fill in my I-751 and accumilate some evidence that marrage was in good faith.

Although now im getting some bad vibe about this step from what i have been reading...

The 60day period would be around july in my case.

I see what your saying about the I-751 form, thats when you have your conditions removed.

Basically you have your interview for Conditions removed a year after your receive your Conditional Green Card.

We haven't recevied a date, but 3 months before a year was up we have to file a...

in your last last paragraph are you basically saying if we file for a divorce together, i.e. using the same Attorney we've been using, it would be better?
