For pretty good 'brazilian' translations use Google Language Tools. To the right of the Google search pane in the middle of the screen. Well, tis on the UK version!

I have just visted google.pt and the Portuguese version of Wikipedia and they use the phrase "surfar" na Web.

Always fascinated by how living language is and you can see new words...
