I lent her the half the money to purchase the property (plus she took out a mortgage for the shortfall) but my name was never on the title documents.

Thank you for the advice. We had no formal agreement, which might seem reckless but she really is quite trustworthy!

Reason i asked is my girlfriend and I pretty much have to be apart, she needs to return to Brazil to do a semester of her degree otherwise she loses the two years already completed and I can't leave...

Once you are sponsored you have to work with the company for two years before they can put you forward for PR.

OK. I'm from the UK so yes low risk, I submitted my paper application myself without an agent. There's no point in phoning Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre, they just palm you off with, we're doing...

Not from Feb 2008 but I am from June 2008 and they have been stuck on 20 Nov 2007 for months now. I'm not sure why it has stalled for so long only they will know and they don't seem too likely to...

I think it has something to do with this:

Please note that during July/August 2007 the ASPC received a large volume

Unless something changes in the processing centre you have no chance of it being 6 months and little chance of it being 9 months. Mine has been nearly 6 months (submitted in beginning of June 08)...

Same here - my 457 was with an agent though but came through in just over two weeks. My 176 hasn't moved since September in terms of being allocated a case officer. At this rate it'll take longer...

At that stage we had only been together for 7 months. It has now been over a year.
