Not sure what my budget is really, I think i should have between 700 - 800 a week take home, so I guess my absolut max for rent would be 250 a week, maybe 100 - 150 for bills and travel ...

Thanks, that is a realy good website!!
Think Brtomart is my best bet, about a 25 minute commute which is not bad. Would Parnell be reasonably close to Britomart train station? New market maybe too...
