497 can be used for obtaining permission to work also isn't it? Can she not apply for 497 unless her visa is expiring? In her case, 497 is needed to let her lodge a PR app w/o the ACS assessment...

Thanks. It will make a lot of sense if DIMIA would consider the work experience prior to the ACS deeming date, especially for Group A and Group B cases. ACS requires 4 years experience (or more)...
