Hey guys, i'm in Brisbane on a 4 year 457, been here for 6 months, but I want to apply for pr asap.

I fly on my own tomorrow to Brisbane. Had a leaving 'do' last night in Preston so feeling really rough today on my last day- not good!

Yeah i'm a bit scared but also excited- at the end of the day...

I have had an E457 visa granted but what do I need to show at passport control with regard to an actual visa? The EGNOWIXF..... number?

Just been - the 24 hour idea was excellent as it's on the way home from the Ley Inn!

There are some Muse tickets available on the aussie ebay site, but they're going for about 3 times face value....

Heya! I'm actually from Clayton Green- near Asda!

Got my visa through on Monday, booked my flights, handed my notice in and I finish work on the 31st and fly on Monday 3rd September into Bris!...

Ok my little story-
I went to Bris in 2005 on my own after splitting with my ex, just to check it out as a place to live. Spent 3 months there after landing a job as an auditor...

Nice one, it's weird how ticketmaster don't sell the brisbane killers tickets, but they sell sydney, and vice versa with ticketek.com.au.

Checking visa application online status

Hi everyone, at what point in the day is there no point in checking my E457 online status? I'm thinking online status will only change mon-fri 8am-5pm (aussie time).
Am I correct in thinking this...
