we also fly from Heathrow to brisbane on the 28 th of october, so much to do, so little time.

Sorry medicals cleared 15th Aug , took roughly 6 weeks to clear.

Application lodged 10th july, medicals cleared 15th, processing further 15th sep, 18th Sep approved

Were in the same boat as you, 457 visa apllication lodged 9th july, that will be 9 stressfull weeks of waiting on monday , think i ve aged 10 years.
medicals finalised 15th august....

yes frontloaded xrays and sponsorship nomination, didnt require police checks.

luckily my sponsoring company are based in Brisbane and so is my agent so they lodged the employer nomination and 457 visa application together.
They did tell me that sponsoring company...

Moving to Brisbane on 457 visa, does anybody know how to check the progress of the application (lodged 9th july) also progress and if xrays/medicals have been received in sydney.

457 visa and medicals

Hi everyone

I am a new member
Our application for the 457 visa has just been lodged in brisbane, apparently waiting time is approx 8 weeks (bummer) oh well more waiting with fingers crossed....
