I don't understand why the treasuries had to pull out of the scheme in the first place. To begin with did they not check on the sources of the funds being invested with them? Surely such checks...

Though I'm not legally minded, I think Alan's right. If we had the legal advantage on this one I think DIAC would have acted by now - let's face it, a large Govt Dept like that isn't going to leave...

How about lodging a complaint about DIAC with the Australian Govt Ombudsman - that's what they're there for.

Yes, you can have 2 apps in at once. We emailed DIAC re: this and received confirmation. That's the route we are unfortunately being forced to go down. One more time with feeling.....
