B2 visa -must you stay out for 6 months too?

We are on our second winter snowbirding but were late coming out this year because of work commitments in the UK.
We plan to stay for 175 days till June. However we hope to come out earlier next...

How can they travel in the cabin with you? Theres no room - or can you buy a seat? I've never seen pets in a cabin.

We are planning to become snowbirds in Florida, spending 6 months there and 6 in Scotland. Iwould love to take my beloved cats but do you think it will be too stressful for them to fly twice a year?

What do you call older? We are both 50,but I got early retirement from teaching and my husband plans to retire soon from building.We definitely don't intend to work, just spend our hard earned money!

I'm sure I saw on a website that you could retire to the usa if you has assets of a million dollars - did I imagine it?:confused:
