Yes, there are not many options. We joined for 2 legs of a world cruise with P&O which I think leave only once a year - we left in January 2005. We were lucky as we were planning to leave at that...

We came over by cruise ship from the Uk. The journey took us just under 6 weeks and we went via the Caribbean through the Panama canal, to the States, South Pacific Islands and on to Australia.
