My personal theory being that homosexuality is increased (aand this isnt really in reference to Australia) in liberal, modern societies and amongst people of a higher intelligence or a below average...

There is loads of research backing this sort of thing up. The basic idea being homosexuality is more prevelant in-
1.Highly competitive or militaristic societies
2.Advanced liberal societies

Actually "the English" do have a tendency towards homosexuality-and rather obviously this feeds into my point about Aussies. My theory being that this pre-existing inclination has further developed...

That was a bit silly. I don't quite percieve Brits as such. Actually I am rather aware that in the scheme of things Aussies and Brits arent very disimiliar.

I disagree with most of that-alot of that stuff is what Australians would like you to believe or the way they erroneously percieve themselves.
Australians are pretty money/status orientated.

To be honest, i was just on the phone the other day to an Australian friend(yes I have them) who is the chairwoman of a very large activist organisation (rather well known) funnily she totally agreed...
