maybe check out sevenseas, they ship small amount pretty cheaply, the trade off it takes about 10 weeks, but if you're travelling first then may not be too bad.

as far as i know you don't get an 'ack' in the same way as other classes of visa, they reciepted our visa at the same time as taking the money (all on day of application online) and sent an e-mail...

I looked into it but as I qualified the GTP route and not the PGCE route they wouldn't even look at assessing my skills, so as long as you are PGCE trained then you should be alright!

Been looking at the application processing times from the ASPC update weekly e-mails, and just before I applied the processing...
