I Cant Believe it! The postman brought my passportr back today with my spouse visa in it! We sent it on Tueday this week - no emails or telephone calls - just got the passport back this morning.

We submitted our spouse visa application to London this week (Posted on Tuesday, Arrived Wednesday, Money taken from my Credit Card Thursday!)

It took me ages, 2 pages of overseas trips as an attachment and another attachment page of old addresses (8 in 10 years) if you aren't sure just put (approximately) after the date.

I got a letter and a receipt for my £10 a few days after sending off the form and the cheque. That was on the 10th of April (In Hampshire) - No Certificate yet.....

We dont want to have to get citizenship as she has a full residency to the UK and we plan to move, live and settle in Australia.

Thanks, does that mean I can validate the visa by just visiting for a short time (holiday) and then come back to the UK and migrate anytime up to 5 years later? :)

I am about to apply for my spouse visa, but we may need to delay our migration to Australia for about two years. Should we wait to apply or will the visa still be valid in 2 or 3 years...
