Have seen some good information on the ird.govt.nz site re income tax but can anyone please point me in the right direction re National Insurance and Local Rates/Council Tax as we call it?

Hi, we are looking at a skilled visa but on of us needs a job offer - we are told this end it should be okay...but no idea really! we are planning a trip in July to see for ourselves.....how easy is...
