The eyesight test was just the standard looking at a chart of letters and reading out the letters you can see. No hearing test, just look at the ears, eyes and throat. I had to strip to bra...

Fingers crossed for you then! I think that if they see that offer letter though, surely they will make sure your visas are issued by that date? Unless it is deemed that you are too...

Why do you need to be there by Xmas - have you got family/friends over there you plan to spend it with?

Like you say, you can't plan anything until you know. What if we don't get them...

A bit disconcerting though that they have asked for documents I have uploaded - which means it is either a computer generated letter or they haven't received/can't access the documents...
