In Vancouver and some other cities CBC and CTV broadcast HDTV over the air.The TV has to have a built in ATSC tuner(most do now) and in Vancouver you need to have a clear line of sight to the towers...

Correct, though they say they will soon which I doubt as the bandwith required is enormous.

We have telus tv ,internet and phone and phone bundle, all competitive.Telus tv very good service...fall over themselves because they want a slice of Shaw so I suggest you check them out.

Very true so people really have to do their research.I am fortunate in that I can and have used BA miles from Vancouver on American Airlines for anywhere in the US,Alaska for California and Mexico...

I should also add that BA "charges" the fewest point for a flight from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in England..50,000.So when I transferred 34000 points I had enough for a flight from Vancouver to...

Another benefit of the Avion card is that quite frequently they have an offer where you can transfer your points to BA Executive club and get 1.5 BA points for every Avion point.You can use BA points...
