Thank you for your insight. Funnily enough the ex mentioned the Tri cities when we were deciding where to live in 2008. I was the one who suggested Ottawa. I've just spent the last 2 hours...

Very good point.

Having the choice of which country to reside in does appeal to me. My youngest when he was 12 was researching the internet to find which visa's he needed to be able to get into...

I've just been reading up on the IEC initiative to come to Canada on a working holiday. The UK is participating in the programme but one site says the age range is upto 35 years old and another 30....

I don't have a work permit, i have Canadian residency (along with my children) and in order to meet the criteria of being present in the country for 2 years, i need to be here permanently by Feb...

I don't necessarily know that i willfind it in Canada but just like all those who went before me, you took a risk trying to find it also. For some it worked out well and for other, not so well.

Lol .. Landed 08/12/08, left 21/01/09, went back 24/02/09, came back 03/03/09 and been in the UK since.

So in total I've lived in Canada for 7 weeks and 2 days since Dec 08.

That sounds so sad.

He's not the childrens father .. I took him to court back in August 2008 and it helped that the dead beat started arguing with the judge. I got my paperwork.
