I was in the same position but my house sale in the UK fell through but I was told by the local provincial nomination for Alberta to apply for a tempory 6mths work visa which takes 4-6 weeks in...

On the back of you computer there is a red switch that will show 240v. If you slide this over you will see it say 110v. Then it will work in Canada.

I have the same problem with the power shower. My system is gravity fed and I have been turning the power off and using it twice a week for the last 3 years.

I am clean :D as I also use the bath.

Hello :)
I am moving to Edmonton at the end of the year. I will be working in Acheson. I have 2 boys (currently 6 and 4) can any one recomend a good school and area to bring the children up with.
