I continue to pay NI contributions (Class 2) not least because
The UK Gov are likely to change pensions regulations this year so that only 30 years contributions are required for a full pension...

You're right Nicstids. In fact, there aren't many Industry funds at all -less than 20, see

compared to the large number of mainly personal funds currently on the QROPS...

At least 2 of the funds on the QROPS list are Industry funds. They are:
1) Australian Super (A massive fund)
2) CARE Super
Take a look at them before you take the plunge!
