Thanks for the reply, I assumed that I would have 4 years work experience, as I have been working for four years! Did you post-doc in Canada? All my post-docs have been in the UK.

Hi Chinny bloke, I'm orginally from Huntly in Aberdeenshire. I'm trying to move out to BC. I imagine parts of Nova Scotia will be very similar to Aberdeenshire! Although I bet you won't miss the A96!

Hi, Mr Trish! thanks for the help. Sounds fairly straight forward, we were assuming our health insurance wouldn't cover limbs as it's a "pre existing condition". The spare limb is in at the DSC...

I wonder if you could help? My husband has a prosthetic limb, I'm waiting on an HRSDC approval for a job offer (work permit) and we're considering applying for PR once we get to Canada....
