its an exciting time, i remember when we were jumping through all the hoops it was great, even our dog loved life in Brisbane, but it does cost a lot

here in Brisbane my son did have the choice to go either the year above or stay back, he went the year above, after a couple of years of mucking around and making friends he is now doing very well, ...

we submitted the extra medical evidence yesterday and that was granted overnight
and it true what someone said earlier on in this thread, if you don't try you will never know

No it was just my wife (she has the skill) as we were not expecting to get the visa and that way we were only risking one fee, the families visa applications are going in today

Diama have asked for details of my in laws illness.
So they have not flung it out,
My In laws are writing to their doctors to get the required Info

The regulations are that you must apply within 5 years from your last departure date from Australia. And I am over that by about 7 months

we have been back in the UK 5 years 9 months.
so we are basically 9 months out which is why we are not holding our breath

sorry for late reply, we got our visa in 2006, and we moved to Brisbane 9th Nov 2006. We came back to Scotland February 2009.

Our old visa (139) has expired, our agent is not hopeful but says you never know, we have an excellent supporting statement, however we are expecting a no, but still hoping,

Hi all
Well that's our RRV application submitted, my wife got a job offer, my daughter has been told she can go to Tafe for general nursing all providing we get the visa,
so hears hoping
