I think the Canadian customs take the I-94. I guess i can ask them at the border or i can just send to the embassy in Canada. I dont think Credit Card etc would be good evidence.

I plan to travel by road. I'm not sure who to give the I-94 to because you dont hit US customs on the way out of the US, you only hit the Canada customs.

Long and Painful Landing Experience - Hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes

Well i took a week off from work so i can get my passport stamped from Buffalo and land the same day and then spend a few days there with some family and then come back to US and wrap things up.

To my surprise Buffalo called to tell me that they recieved my application for visitor visa and that my immigrant visa was also ready. I asked her if it was possible she just stamp my immigrant visa...
