Thanks for the names of those cars. I'll go and check them out on the hire company sites. When I last looked the biggest 7 seater they had was a Chevrolet Venture so now that I have some more names...

I'd say Kettle Valley is hard to beat if you have children, its safe and has good facilities, even when we visited in February and it was covered in snow the kids were on their bikes and riding about...
