I’m not arguing it should be free, I’m pointing out that the fee is many times higher than inflation-adjusted cost and is explicitly set above cost by policy. That’s not just paying for work...

I got an email today from the Home Office asking for full payment. I did send in the payment slip for the £130 but they never took it, and said they’d received £0, which is odd IMO.

Thanks! I don’t know exactly when they got divorced, but it was after my mom was born.

since my application is through my mom, my parents not being married when I was born doesn’t matter,...
